Visiting Korea

In September, our International Manager visited Seoul and Busan in Korea. 

Laura Fleming travelled with 35 educational institutions from Tauranga – Principals and International Managers. We promoted our beautiful region – Tauranga, the Sunny Bay of Plenty! 

Laura promoted Tauriko School to prospective families. It was so wonderful to learn about Korean culture and history, and to experience first-hand where many of our International students come from. 

It was also extremely special to meet up with our Alumni – both students and parents. The effort these families made (including parents of current children!) was really heart-warming. 

We visited the New Zealand Embassy residence to celebrate Education Tauranga’s first Alumni event. 

We look forward to continuing to market overseas in Korea and China, and are looking forward to diversifying our market into other areas too. Laura then travelled on to Japan and visited schools in Japan and met many agents. Networking on an international level and forming connections and relationships is something that we value.
