Welcoming Parents

We are so pleased to welcome our new International families to Tauriko School. 

At the beginning of each term our International Manager hosts a morning tea for all the parents and caregivers of our International students. This is a wonderful opportunity for our parents to introduce themselves to each other and to get to one another.

Making connections and forming relationships is at the heart of what we aim to achieve, so it is so special to see our parents connecting with each other. 

We also host Social Groups for our International parents. This is a time for our parents to focus on themselves for a short time, and learn new skills (cooking, baking, gardening, sewing etc.) – while having a good time together. These occasions are always filled with plenty of laughter.
