Butterfly Season

It is butterfly season and we have been lucky enough to have had a swan plant in the ESOL classroom with eggs, a variety of different sized caterpillars, and now a chrysalis.

In two weeks we look forward to letting a butterfly free.

The students have been able to learn english through talking about our caterpillars, reading about the life cycle, reading poems and a selection of stories. They have then written  about what they have seen and have learnt.
